State Library Closing for Hartford Marathon

The State Library and the Museum of Connecticut History will be closed on Sat. Oct. 13. The running of the Hartford Marathon requires closing streets all around the 231 Capitol Ave. building to vehicles, preventing patrons, visitors, and staff from driving or parking close to the building.

We will be open on Mon. Oct. 15 as usual, and will be open on Sat. Oct. 20.

State Library Columbus Holiday Closing

All State Library facilities, including the Museum of Connecticut History, will be closed on Sat. Oct. 6 and Mon. Oct. 8 in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.
