Access NewspaperARCHIVE is a constantly growing database containing newspapers from the United States and abroad spanning the late 1700′s to the present. This database is a primary resource. “NewspaperARCHIVE.com is adding newspaper pages faster than you can search them – with one newspaper page added every second – that’s over 80,000 images a day, or about 2.5 million per second.” It is the world’s largest archive of online searchable newspapers. Searches can be limited by locality and year. Try selecting a particular event in history on a given date and you will see the vast reservoir of information that this database contains.
