Please stop by the State Library or any other library, and tell your favorite librarian or staff member how much you appreciate what they do.
And of course, behind all the public faces are the indispensable staff members who make it all work, so thanks to them from all of us who use libraries!
Thank your librarian today!

It’s National Library Week, a time to celebrate the contributions of libraries, librarians and library workers in schools, campuses, and everywhere else.
The Connecticut State Library provides everything you want or need to know about law and legislation; public administration and policy; state, federal and local government; CT history and genealogy; newspapers; and archives.
Come celebrate National Library Week at your State Library.
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April.
