The inauguration of incoming Governor Dan Malloy will take place on Wednesday, January 5th. As a result of the Governor’s inaugural parade, swearing-in ceremony and other events, visitors to the library and museum should anticipate some inconveniences such as road closures, detours, and limited parking.
The armory will be opened to inaugural quests and the general public at 12:00pm. Street closures: Trinity Street and Capitol Avenue between Trinity and Broad Street will be closed at approximately 12:45pm for the Inaugural parade. The swearing in ceremony will be held within the armory at 2:00pm and it is expected that the entire event would wrap up at approximately 3:00pm.
